Affiliate Disclosure
How we earn — and why it doesn’t change what we recommend.
Last updated: January 15, 2026
In the interest of full transparency, Ergo Brief participates in affiliate marketing programs. This page explains what that means for you as a reader, in clear language and in compliance with U.S. Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) guidelines.
FTC disclosure
In accordance with the FTC guidelines concerning the use of endorsements and testimonials in advertising, please be aware that some of the links on ergobrief.com are affiliate links. This means that, at no additional cost to you, we may earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase. We only recommend products and services we genuinely believe offer value to our readers.
Programs we participate in
- Amazon Associates Program — Ergo Brief is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
- ShareASale — we partner with select brands through the ShareASale affiliate network.
- CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction) — we partner with select brands through the CJ Affiliate network.
- Direct brand partnerships — occasionally we partner directly with ergonomic equipment manufacturers and retailers through their in-house affiliate programs.
How affiliate links work
When you click a link from our site to a retailer like Amazon and complete a purchase within that retailer’s tracking window, the retailer pays Ergo Brief a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you arrive through our link or not — affiliate commissions come out of the retailer’s margin, not your wallet.
Our editorial independence
Affiliate revenue is what keeps Ergo Brief running, but it does not influence which products we recommend. Specifically:
- We do not accept payment for placement in our “best of” lists or rankings.
- Products earn their position through our research process — not through commission rates.
- When a top-rated product has no affiliate program, it still gets the top spot.
- If we find that a product we previously recommended has serious flaws, we update or remove it — regardless of how much commission it has earned.
Amazon-specific disclosure
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability on Amazon are accurate as of the date and time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
◆ THANK YOU
